Youth Ministry

Welcome Clay and Holly!

As you know, our Youth Ministry Steering Committee has been working over the last several months to find the next Youth Minister for Westgate. After reviewing many resumes, conducting phone and in person interviews, the Committee has made their recommendation and the Elders have accepted that recommendation. We are extremely excited to announce the hiring of our new Youth Minister - Clay Howell.

Clay grew up in Nashville and he is graduating from Abilene Christian University this May. He has served as the Youth Minister at the Hamby Church of Christ for the past two years. In addition, he draws from his experiences in two youth ministry internships. He is engaged to Holly Elmore and they will be getting married on June 27. He will begin his work with us in July after he and Holly’s honeymoon. We look forward to all of you meeting them and welcoming them to Westgate!
